July 31, 2018

Between consistent cuts, expensive hair masks, and minimal hot tools, it’s hard to keep up with all the rules required for flawless locks. So what’s a woman  to do when she’s trying to reach the same level of hair perfection as some of the world’s most stunning stars? Below you will find the best information , tips & tricks , picked up carefully for you…!

For me ,

“I straighten my hair a lot, so I try to do hair masks to combat the damage. I do a homemade one,  that’s  extra pure olive oil (I’m lucky enough at this point , because it comes from my dad’s olive farm) with an egg cracked into it and organic honey. Put it in the microwave for about 30 seconds so it gets warm, paste it all over your hair, put a plastic bag over it and tie it tight, then the humidity in there helps it sink in. After a couple of hours – or sleep in it if you can though it gets a bit messy – you can wash it off and your hair is super shiny.”

KARLIE KLOSS

For model Karlie Kloss

it’s all about starting with clean hair. “My favorite hair day starts with washing it at night, going to bed with it air-dried, slightly damp and then waking up the next morning with really good bed head texture,” she says. “A bit messed up, not too perfect, but kind of sexy texture; it feels very French. I love a good sea salt spray or dry shampoo, and I love to do a French braid. I do a mean French braid!”

LUCY HALE

For actress  Lucy Hale ,  “A day old hair wash, Kristin Ess Style Reviving Dry Shampoo and Dry Finish Working Texture Spray when needed” is the key to her effortless waves.

BIANCA BALTI

Italian beauty Bianca Balti, shares her go to product revealing that, “L’Oréal Botanicals Fresh Care Coriander Strength Source is my favorite product. I apply a few drops on my hair strips to protect from daily stress that it goes through when I am working.”

JASMINE TOOKES

For Victoria’s Secret Angel Jasmin Tookes , good hair starts with clean hair, adding, “I use Moroccanoil Treatment when I get out of the shower.”

ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY

Supermodel Rosie Huntington – Whiteley loves an at home blowout if she has time. If not, it’s all about a headband. “A good hair for me would start with having washed it the night before,” she says. “Right now I’m using shampoo from Sachajuan, and then I’ll blow dry my hair and flip my head upside down and take a big round brush and blow it out. You can do a very mini version of a hairdressing salon blow out that way. If I’ve got time, I’ll run a tong through my hair, it’s called the Beachwaver by Sarah Potempa and that’s just foolproof, and I use the new Dyson hairdryer, which is an investment hairdryer, but it’s amazing product and so easy to use. If not, one my favorite things is these Michel Maison headbands, and you stick them on top of your head and you roll your hair into it and you get this beautiful Grecian look. It’s great if just need that quick, easy up do.”

General Tips :

It’s not the sexiest look ever, but get a satin bonnet to wear while you sleep. It’ll preserve any style overnight.

To prevent a texturizing or surf spray from turning hair dull, mix it with a few drops of  hair oil, in your palm and then rake it through hair.

Healthy hair holds color longer, so do weekly deep conditioning treatment to keep yours vibrant and shiny.

Section curly hair into four twists in the shower and smooth shampoo on top of each one and your hair won’t get tangled when you wash it.

Turning your wand from vertical to horizontal when curling will give you a softer wave.

For a sleek pony, tilt your head back 45 degrees and gather your hair with a mixed-bristle brush. The more bristles, the smoother your hair will be.

When you’re not sure what to do with your hair, part it on the side. It exposes the undersides, which usually look healthier and shinier than the top layers.

If your hair is thinning or lacks volume,  adding highlights , can swell the cuticle, giving the appearance of more hair.
