Donatella Versace was celebrating the return of the supermodel. Her roll call of girls was a stellar gang comprising of Gigi Hadid who had flown in specially to open the show, swiftly followed by Karlie Kloss, Adriana Lima, Kendall Jenner and Irina Shayk. It was a celebration of girls with personality, as far from identikit as possible. The fact that Cate Blanchett looked so ravishing in a custom made Atelier Versace black sequinned gown at the 18th Costume Designers Guild Awards last week is proof that Versace can work for all women. Maybe the most anticipated fashion show of NYFY is made a reality yesterday.  Peter Copping proved to be a worthy succesor  of  the unforgettable Oscar de la Renta. The Collection was as Classy as always but with a sense of security for a new approach of luxury and decadence of materials and style. Amazing fashionable creations were stood out  like the  double-face cashmere fit and flare coat,  the fairytale  gown with fuchsia taffeta drape,  or the  splendid intarsia mink coat which will be a discussion for a long time…  A welcome innovation was also the appeal of a two-for-one showpiece which gave another dimention to the  up to now styling…
