With deep sadness the House of CHANEL announced the passing of Karl Lagerfeld on Tuesday 19 February 2019, the Creative Director for the CHANEL Fashion House since 1983.
A leading creative and a household name, Lagerfeld has been paramount to the success of three houses over his lifetime: Chanel, Fendi and his eponymous label. Today, the industry mourns the loss of one of the most influential talents in fashion history.
